Allana was picked to be a part of Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her off the field. It took a few years for Allana to get back in rugby league. Allana played with distinction in the team of New South Wales in her first women's Rugby League game against Queensland and played in 2015. Allana's radio career has grown by the time she has been a regular guest on 2GB's Continuous Call Team, a highly rated program. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports including rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and the rugby union. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player of Australia's Jillaroos team, has had to put a premature ending to her career in the sport after torn her ACL in a fourth occasion. Ferguson injured her ACL four times before age 15, 17, and 20. After the fourth time she did it, her career was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to retire in the early hours. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' player, confirmed the situation via The Courier Mail this week following an injury sustained when he was training in the month of November.
